In the very heart of Georgia's capital we can help you create a wonderful wedding experience--and lasting memories--in the historical and architectural landmark of the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The Shrine is Atlanta's most historic church.

Our priests, deacons and staff are excited about the decision you have made to marry. We want to make the journey to your wedding day as smooth as possible. We offer pre-marriage counseling, wedding coordination, liturgical planning and music consultation.

Beautiful Setting

Our magnificent pipe organ can set the tone for your ceremony, accenting the significance of your commitment with its regal beauty. The soaring ceiling, classic marble altars and stained glass windows of our sanctuary provide a lovely atmosphere for your vows.

Our church's long center aisle is perfect for your wedding party's procession. It becomes a dramatic focal point for the gathering of your loved ones present to honor and share this special moment with you.

Suitable Schedule

Our schedule is designed to accommodate you. Your wedding may be scheduled at 2:00pm, 5:30pm or later on Saturdays. Available times for Sundays are 3:00pm and 5:00pm or later.

Easy Parking

Secure parking is available inside the Underground Atlanta parking deck at 95 MLK JR Drive.

Convenient Location

The Shrine's location provides easy access from I-75/I-85 and I-20. We are directly across from Underground Atlanta and one block from the city's capitol. Minutes away are a number of excellent reception sites that can accommodate any budget.
